"Mighty" Joe Young was born December 17, 1975. He got started in racing after going to a World Of Outlaw show at I-30 Speedway when he was young. After that, he was hooked.

After a few years, Joe started helping a friend of his dad's in the pits which led to helping him get his first car, which he started racing in 1994.

For the 2007 racing season, Joe is racing a 360 Sprint and a Mini Sprint.
